More haircuts and cute baby

Super D got a new haircut too, in support of Rascal C having to get his buzzed. I am so glad I have boys and can cut their hair! I just hope they don't get as picky as their dad about it! ;)
Baby J the preztel monger!!! He loves the stick kind for some reason.
We try to keep the bag away from him but he always seems to find it and grab handfuls and handfuls!!!
so peacfully sleeping
My handsome baby boy!

Scissors found by Rascal C : - /

So our sweet C found the scissors... I had run to the bathroom and when I came out C sat down on his hands very quickly...too quickly. Very mischevious I thought. I asked him what he had, thinking it would be candy or gum, and he held up a pair of children scissors. Now, normally I am very good at keeping these under lock and key in my closet, but we missed a pair this time. I noticed some cut up paper and then gave him the lecture of not cutting up papers without asking mom and to never use scissors without mom close by...then...

I went and picked up jeric from behind and wondered why on earth there was hair all over the back of his onsie. No, it hadn't clicked yet...hair all over onsie, C just got caught with scissors. So, I went about my business for about another 10 minutes with Baby J on my hip and then it clicked!!! I looked at J's hair, and this is what I found!!!
there were more cut's on the top of the head, but those didn't turn out well in the picture. I then realized that his onsie was also cut up in the front! I flipped. I lost it. I was so upset realizing how close to baby's skin he had gotten and also feeling lucky that his skin hadn't been cut. But instead of focusing on that positive note, I looked at C and said, "do you think J liked getting his hair and onsie cut????" Of course with a yelling tone in my voice ;-/ He said with a smile, "yes?" Wrong answer. I then said, "How would YOU like it if your shirt got cut?" He said "I would not" So what did I do? I took the scissors and cut C's shirt he was wearing...right down the middle. Oh, it gets worse.
Then I marched him to the bathroom and basically yelled that he was going to get his hair cut too!!! So i pinned him down (not literally, but he was not fond of the idea) and buzzed his head to the 1/4" razor... He was crying and screaming and trying to put the hair back on his head and I sat there, realizing what I had just done...not even thinking about it, it had happened in a matter of minutes. So, then i realized how mean I had just been and started crying and holding him and then I called DH crying, telling him what a terrible mother I had just been. B just laughed and said, "You did what???" He couldn't believe it. I was in tears and he was dying of laughter...still is!
So, here is C's buzzed hair-do. He also will not let me throw away the shirt of his I cut and often puts it in my face shaking it, saying "How did it make you feel when you cut my shirt all up mom? You should of read your scriptures today!" And stomps off. It's awful, I feel awful still. But i guess others have done worse, so I should count my blessings that I didn't do anything too damaging...I hope.

And here is baby's buzz that we had to do because it was so obvious his hair had been cut in several places...very short. We can still spike the front, but he looks so grown up with short hair. I do like it, his eyes stand out so much more. But, still , the way it happened, I could've reacted a little better don't ya think?!? :-/

Baby J and the Baby chics

So, my pictures didn't go in order. They are backwards... This is Baby J, every time we would take him away from the box with the chickens in it. He loved watching them every minute! He seriously would get mad at us. Too funny! Of course it's cute when they are little.
He would just peep into the box like this and watch them and say "chic, chic, chic"

And here are the cute little things. This was the beginning of february, they are not much larger and outside in their coop. I can't believe how fast they grow, it is crazy! The kids love going out to feed them and water them and always check for eggs. We keep telling them it will be a while before we will get any eggs, but the are still diligent in checking.
