...more pics of our Girl!!!

My parents came down the day i got home and helped with older kiddos mostly. They let me sleep and took care of the house. It was wonderful! I told them they can move in at any time. ;) Dad had to be back to work today (saturday) so they left me yesterday and I had a little moment of sadness...but i am glad they got to come down and see her so tiny and new. And they were seriously the most terrific help! DAd was master cleaner, bus stop pick-upper, treat provider and bedtime storyteller...

Her first day home...

D's first time holding her. Every day he runs home from the bus, changes his shirt immediately, washes up and gets his mask on...he is ready to hold her! Last night she had her eyes opened wide looking around and he was giggling about it. Then he said, "Mom, when girls my age open their eyes wide like that, it's not so cute, but when SHE does it...it is VERY CUTE!" Brad and I had a giggle over that. He just loves this little sister!

...My mom was so good and making sure i had what i needed, feeding the kiddos, keeping up on laundry, and playing playing playing with the kids. I seriuosly don't think they watched one movie in the entire 4 days they were here. It was great. They played games and read a ton, and helped with homework, "wrote" stories with her and so on. The kids loved the extra attention because we all know had it been me in charge...movies, movies, movies and more movies. ;) I admit...it's my weakness when tired and not up to chasing them around. They left yesterday but my sweet sister in law Laurie offered to help with kids for today. So brad took kiddos with him on way to work...i just can't keep up with J...he is climbing and always into things and i am constantly getting up and just after three hours yesterday of doing it after my parents left...i was wiped out and getting very sore. I think the sorest i've been since having baby. So, she is "rescuing" me today and brad will be here tomorrow and hopefully by monday i will be able to handle it better...the baby is perfect. Sleeps WONDERFULLY and is nursing AWESOME!!! So i am excited. Brad can't wait till he is 100% better so he can love on her, he is just dying to give her a kiss on the cheek but hasn't been able to yet. He's still "masking" it. SO, his time will come hopefully soon. ;) It's driving him crazy!

C's first time holding her. They all have been wearing masks because we've had this nasty cold going around, but we did let them lift it quickly for one photo...i didn't want all of their smiles hidden behind the masks. They really do just love her!

And this guy...he ESPECIALLY loves her! He wants to feed her cookies and candy and food. We have to keep explaining she just has milk. He will open my bedroom door, knowing he can't come in without his mask on, because he is still pretty yucky feeling...and just smile and say "Thank you for my baby mom" and blows me a kiss. Or he'll creep the door open and just grin from ear to ear and say "I just lub you mama!" and hurry and shut the door again. Anyway, very entertaining.

On the way home from hospital we had to stop by brad's parents to pick J up. We got a fourth generation picture since gma nelson is visiting fo the winter. So that was fun. She was embarrased about her hair because she also has not been feeling well...we had a good laugh about it. Maybe when she is feeling better we will have to get baby out of the seat and get a better shot of gma. I think it's perfectly fine, but gma thought otherwise. ;)

Ready to leave the hospital...so tiny. We love her!
