D got a gift certificate to pirate island pizza for passing off his third task card. He was more than excited!!! We went for family night one night because he wouldn't leave us alone about it. They played some games, picked out a small spinning top and pirate ring for their prize from tickets and ate yummy pizza. It was a rough day for mom, as you can see i look SOOOO glamorous, this was the last thing i wanted to do. But it turned out fun, the kids had fun and the food was good.
B and his dad and brother gave the cow elk tag one last shot on the 28th and 29th of december. B got one monday and his dad and brother tuesday. So the meat is now all cut up and in the freezer. It is a nasty job, butchering the elk, but they clean the meat SOOOO much better than butchers do. We finally finished it last thursday and it's nice. But honestly, i never thought my swing set would be used to skin an animal! ;-/
