D had his first piano recital and he did really good. 3 of my kids showed up late, NOT in their sunday clothes, erg! And then three others just weren't coming. I only had 9 kids for this recital. I was in tears because it was only a week after my surgery. I didn't want to cancel it becuase the recital hall was booked until february. So i just wanted to get it done. I was easily upset and emotional from my recent surgery. It was a total flop, the worst recital i've every had. But, besides all of that, D did do a really great job. He looked so cute up there. I'm glad he wanted to start taking lessons. He is doing great. I hope his desire sticks with him.

Beautiful pictures of you, Jen. I just read your recent three posts and can't believe I haven't kept up, but they were very fun and interesting to read.
