So, they way our year has been going medically, I started getting really nervous about having our trampoline. I don't know if it was me worrying myself sick or if I was being prompted, but I sold it. We had talked to the kids about it and said they could have the money to buy something else fun for outside. But when i acutally sold it, Dalton wouldn't talk to me for two days. He was furious and just cried. I felt awful.
I took them to the store to look around and get ideas of what they might want to buy with the money. They wanted one of the powerwheels jeeps. Since they didn't have enough money for a new one, i told them we'd have to talk to dad. WE remembered that his sister Sylvia had offered hers to us, it is old and sun faded, but said it had still worked when her kids outgrew it. So brad hauled it home. We went to buy a battery and charger for it...that alone was going to cost $90...so we waited a few more days. Brad found that online you can convert them over to use a normal 12V battery. So he had rewired it and when doing so, wired it for breaklights and headlights. I don't have a pic of it with those on yet. Anyway, the kids love it. They want to repaint it orange, like "Go, Diego, Go!" So i will post a finished picture when it is all "new" looking at least.
They wanted to drive it to the park, but it was getting late, and brad hadn't thought of the headlight idea yet, so they would not have been able to see. We just were going to take them around the block. I had put baby in our little umbrella stroller. We started walking and then brad's eyes lit up and ran back to the house. He came running up the driveway with my double jogging/bike stroller and hooked it up to their bumper... THE KIDS PULLED JERIC AROUND THE BLOCK!!! It was too funny and they got a lot of giggles from drivers passing by. They absolutely love it and have decided they have the most awesome dad ever!!!

Thats such a fun idea well we are moving back down to st. george so maybe we can hang out more!
now that is using the noggin, very smart thinking! I want a trampoline so bad for the kids, but I am secretly a little happy we don't have one, becasue I just no someone would break a bone or something. They live on their grandmas anyways. Glad they like their new toy!
