Well, my boys are so into Super Heroes right now and the funny thing is, they have never really watched any super hero movies or cartoons. Right now, they are Batman, again, they have never seen Batman, not even commercials because we only get two channels. The only cartoons he sees is pbs kids or kued. So, anyway, they asked mom to make them capes...and here they are, even with non-sewing skills.
So, anyway, they have been super hero-ing it since wednesday and it's quite entertaining. I am glad my kids appreciate me for little things like this. Even though i can't sew, we just cut and tie fabric, dalton still thinks i am the craftiest mom ever. He always tells me, "Mom, you are a great maker!" It is very cute and makes me smile. Kids appreciate such simple things!!! If i would have known these would be such a hit, i would have done them for christmas and they would have been happy. So little time and money. I just couldn't believe what a hit these were!

Jennie, that is so cute! I love it. Hopefully they're that easy to please when they are older, too! Ha ha ha.
You did a great job. I've got to work on my sewing skills. There is so much I want to do and make, but... I need skills for that! Lol
I totally understand. Quaid also had never seen Batman or Spider-Man and was so into them. I always think it's so cute that they think they can take on the bad guys. Wait for the Star Wars thing to hit...
