Two months later we have pictures!!!

D lost his first tooth! The Toothfairy let him keep his first tooth for his memory box, but jeric has already lost it. ;( He also got 55 whole cents!!! Life is good. ;)

D got a bow and arrows for his bday a while back. he loves it. Gpa W brought some hay bails that we now have stacked in the back with a carpet drape behind it to stop the arrows from killing someone or something. ;) he loves it and is getting pretty good at accuracy.

He had a Lego party and these were a treat we made for handouts. He thought they were pretty awesome and mom is glad she finally figured out how to do them.

C first day to ride to school on the bus back in August. He felt soooooo BIG!!!
Aren't we such a cute couple?!?!?!? Our kids wouldn't let us pull the 'ole "were dressed up as your parents" routine, so here we are....nerdifide! Which sadly, didn't take much! ;)

C was a lost boy from peter pan, D was an army guy, B a nerd, and J was famous captain hook! Sorry again for the blurriness it's the best we could do!

here are the cookies we did, the kids had a lot of fun decorating. These are of course the ones i did, there's were eaten before i could get a pic. I am not the best artist but it was fun.
I didn't have the right tip for these, i was supposed to use a #45 but couldn't find one, so we had to make do.

kids decorating and loving it!!!

We made english muffin mummy pizzas for lunch with string cheese. The kids loved it. They tasted okay, but the muffins get kind of soggy with the sauce on them. So eat them fast!

D made a mummy and pumpkin pizza!

proud little J with his artwork...

D and the school parade, mom forgot the facepaint. ;(

C and his teacher after the parade. He loves his teacher!!!!!!
So, we had rainstorms for over a week down here, which leads to a muddy pool at the back of our lot. So, the kids asked if they could play outside. It was a warm day, but mud hadn't dried out yet. I said sure, i would be out in a minute. By the time i got out there J was buck naked playing/swimming in the mud. So the older boys asked if they could take a mud bath? I said, sure. They LOVED it!!! They didn't however like the clean up from the irrigation hose. The water was freezing!
Well, this was our Aug - Oct. 2010 in a nutshell. Hope you enjoy the oh so blurry pictures! It's the best we could do. hopefully i will get a new camera before this new baby comes!

First Day of School

C first day of school outfit! He had it ready for days!!!

Cousin SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to start 4th grade!!!

D shouting and excited that his bus driver was the same!!!

D and best cousin and aunt waiting for the bus to come on the first day! It was sunny!

The kids have started school. D is full time now and LOVES it! C went the first day to meet his teacher and actually doesn't really start until the 18th...which is weird, but anyway. I asked D what his favorite part of the day was and he said LUNCH! Then he explained to me how he got two cookies and Jacob got two cookies so they each kept one of their and then traded the other so they could each have one of each cookie. He said, "it was so cool mom!" Very funny and made me laugh...they are already learning the trading game!

Poor quality Piano Recital Pics...

So, the only camera we have is our video/still shot camera that is 7 years old, so the megapixel is i think a 1!!! So, bear with it, but at least we have something! ;(

I do a boardgame with the students. They get points for being ontime, bringing all of their books, excellent ratins and so on...but they also get moved back for tardiness, not bringing all materials, and just not showing up etc. So, it was a Tie. Maggie and Jesse tied for first place and are being awarded their "prize" baskets at the recital. Now the race is on again for the december recital!

I did a few duets with students, mostly on the same piano...but my niece and I tried one with two pianos and decided it was a lot of fun. She did great and she is so fun to play duets with!

I don't look too happy here, but the recital really did go well. Me just announcing the next students. ;)

C playing in his first recital!!! He was so nervous but did well! He loved the attention!
And this is D's 2nd recital. They are both doing well and could do alot better if mom spent more time with them. But I just get tired by the end of all my lessons. I am going to do better so they can progress, they both really want to, so i need to get on it!
